I am a self-taught product manager. I am eternally curious and always enjoy learning new things. Having graduated from a tier-I college in India, I have had previous gigs working as a back-end developer (Golang, Python, SQL) and a data scientist (Python and MongoDB) for over two years, so I am comfortable with the technical side of things.

Currently working as a digital transformation architect, I’ve revolutionized facility and property management for a sprawling enterprise. I’ve orchestrated the deployment of a tech symphony, comprising nine modules — from CMMS to Inventory Management and even an IoT platform. This digital masterpiece serves over 4,000 users across 150 locations. As the conductor of this transformation, I’ve steered the product vision, goals, backlog, stakeholder relations, customer feedback and even the product’s marketing narrative.

My love for Product Management

From soaring heights of aviation to the digital realm of Fintech and ever-exciting Gaming, and now the grounded reality of Proptech, I’ve navigated a variety of domains. While industry knowledge is valuable for certain roles like Marketing, Procurement and Legal, I advocate that in Product Management, the ability to empathize with users and grasp the core pain point is the true compass. I have worked with organizations with more than 25 developers to bare-bone startups with not more than 2 developers (my own), all I know is to deliver value with any resources in hand.

I’m a data-driven detective, constantly sleuthing for insights that reveal the effectiveness of our solutions. My obsession with metrics and KPIs fuels a relentless pursuit of optimization, basically… I love dashboards.

This Blog

Apparently, A Big believer of Feynman.

This blog is just my nautical rutter to help me sail through this massive sea called Product Management. I hope this will help anyone interested enough to go through it. Hey, please let me know if anything drives me away from factuality since I am still learning.

Culture fit

if you are hiring — Compensation is not my primary goal, but a good fit with the team is. I would be a good fit, especially working in an organization that shares the following qualities.

  • Can ideate the problems to be solved clearly, and concisely.
  • Respect Agile Methodology, Can bend it but not break it.
  • Department/Domain agnostic, Break down any domain problem, all we would come down to is … *User, Pain Point*, Throw in any fancy terms like SAAS, PAAS, B2B, B2B2C…the breakdown holds.
  • Believe in teamwork and open communication flow across teams.
  • Extreme Ownership and Result driven. I’ll be responsible for the work assigned and more. Give me Trust and Honesty and I’ll give you Results.
  • Comfortable with arguments from different perspectives supported by facts. I believe in a Product-first environment and not Ego-first.
  • Believe in constant learning so continuous feedback is well appreciated.
  • Patient enough, breaking every problem down to the basics and questioning the fundamentals. (even if it’s time-consuming and probing If it’s obvious I won't be asking.)
  • Happy to go by the rules set (to the T. ) or set my own rules, Just to compartmentalize mundane things and allow some time for creativity.

Even if you are simply interested in my perspective or friendly consultation, please drop me a message.
